Cossy, Sophistiquée 2014

Jouy les Reims is a tiny village classified as premier cru, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims and it is here at Champagne Cossy that you can find traditional craftsmanship and modern know-how with a distinctly feminine touch. Winegrowers since 1764, the history and traditions have withstand time to shape the future, and current custodian, Sophie Cossy, has created a unique taste and style for her wines. Sophistiquée 2014 is the estate's flagship and only produced in the very best vintages. Made from a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier; it is full of finesse, character and minerality. A nose of cooked lemon, baked apple, pear and toast leads to a rich, enveloping paalte with further ripe fruit notes and vanilla. An awesome pair with poultry or pork.
